Professor Mercouri Kanatzidis Named One of the 2022 Global Energy Prize Laureates

Mercouri Kanatzidis has been named a 2022 Global Energy Prize Laureate.
The Global Energy Prize is awarded for outstanding scientific research and scientific technical developments in the field of energy that promote greater efficiency and environmental security for energy sources on Earth in the interests of all mankind. Mercouri is the laureate in the Non-conventional Energy category: for major advances made in solar energy conversion with the use of novel perovskite halides.
