Stephanie Knezz (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University. She received a BS in Chemistry (2011) from Butler University and a PhD from University of Wisconsin-Madison (2016), where she studied physical organic chemistry in the McMahon research group. She works primarily in the instruction of large, introductory STEM courses, currently Organic Chemistry.
A queer woman from a non-academic family background, she works primarily to identify ways to adapt STEM curricula to be culturally relevant and large STEM classes to be inclusive and identity-focused.
