Chem alumna Grace Stokes named Cottrell Scholar

NU Chemistry PhD alumna Grace Stokes, Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Santa Clara, CA, was named a Cottrell Scholar by the Research Corporation (RSCA). The prize comes with a $100,000 award for research and teaching.
Cottrell Scholars engage in an annual networking event, providing them an opportunity to share insights and expertise through the Cottrell Scholar Collaborative. “The Cottrell Scholar (CS) program champions the very best early career teacher-scholars in chemistry, physics and astronomy by providing these significant discretionary awards,” said former NU Provost and RCSA President and CEO Daniel Linzer.
