Mirkin Receives 2018 Theodore Williams Richards Award

Prof. Chad Mirkin has been selected to receive the 2018 Theodore Williams Richards Award and Medal in recognition of "conspicuous achievements in chemistry". This award is given by the Northwestern Section of the American Chemical Society. 

Prof. Mirkin is the 45th recipient of this biennial award, which was established in 1928. 

The Theodore William Richards Medal Award for Conspicuous Achievement in any area of Chemistry honors the first US chemistry Nobel Laureate. Recipients of the prestigious honor include 11 Nobel laureates and other scientific luminaries.

Chad will receive the award during the ACS Northeastern Section monthly meeting on 14 March 2019 in Cambridge, MA.
