September 26, 2018
Prof. Teri Odom has been named a 2018 Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). The criterion for APS Fellow election is exceptional contributions to the physics enterprise. Established in 1921, the Fellowship is a prestigious honor signifying recognition by one's professional peers. The number of APS Fellows elected each year is limited to no more than one half of one percent of the membership. Prof. Odom is being recognized “for contributions to plasmonics, to understanding plasmon-exciton interactions through the development of multi-scale metal nanostructures, and for plasmon-enhanced lasers".
