Dichtel Named 2020 Blavatnik National Laureate in Chemistry

Professor Will Dichtel has been named the National Laureate in Chemistry by the 2020 Blavatnik National Awards for Young Scientists.The Blavatnik National Awards honor recipients in the life sciences, physical sciences and engineering, and chemistry. The awardees are among America’s most accomplished and impactful researchers aged 42 years or younger, and the Laureates receive an unrestricted $250,000 prize.
Professor Dichtel is the first Laureate selected from Northwestern.
The Laureates and finalists will be honored at the Blavatnik National Awards ceremony in September 2021 at the American Museum of National History in New York.
