Fall 2021 Chemistry Newsletter

Welcome to our Fall newsletter and to the beginning of a new academic year! There is a palpable energy and brightness in the Department as we have transitioned to being back on campus. Our vibrant community continues to ebb and flow: two senior faculty have joined us since the summer; staff have been promoted within and departed for promotions without; new graduate students have arrived after being recruited remotely; and our undergraduates are excited to have in-person classes. To be sure, there remain challenges from the pandemic, but I am optimistic that we will navigate through together. Please enjoy our latest happenings!
